In 1997, God gave me a vision to publish a magazine. Without any knowledge or expereince about this profession, I began to knock on doors and research what was needed to bring this vision to life. 10 years later, the first issue of Huami Magazine was released in Greensboro, NC.
Our mission is to recognize individuals in our community for their achievements and accomplishments. We also strive to connect African American owned businesses with African American consumers.
Huami Magazine believes that when someone is recognized for their acts of goodwill, in return others will be encouraged to do as such.
Huami Magazine recognizes individuals in the 10 communities it is circulated in:
Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem, Burlington, Reidsville, Eden, Charlotte, Salisbury, Raleigh, and Durham of North Carolina.
